    This is a high accuracy, high stability, Rosemount Engineering Co.162C Temperature Standard Platinum Probe. Probe has 1/4” Diameter long tube 19” long (23” O.A.L.)
    Comes in PVC protective sleeve & last calibration done in 1996.

    Brief Description:
    The new REC model 162C platinum resistance temperature standard is so stable and accurate it can be calibrated and certified by the National Bureau of Standards. Yet it is rugged enough to operate under 2, 000 psi pressure and withstands sudden, extreme changes in temperature. The Model 162C's fully annealed, high purity platinum wire resistor is mounted essentially strain free within a hermetically sealed stainless steel well.
    Stability is better than .005°C over a range from -200°C to +500°C. self heating is only .001°C at 2 ma. Insulation resistance from element to outside case is more than 1m000 megohms at 100 vdc at 500°C.

    Good Pre-Owned condition - This unit was used as a calibration standard and has been in storage since last calibration!
    I did an quick check against a cheap DMM to show it works - Unit is SOLD AS IS and is not calibrated!
