    Description

    This is a Vintage Infant Layette blue cotton terry long gown/sack.  It is unbranded.  It is fully lined with a white muslin like fabric;  long raglan sleeves with ties at end;  2 ties on the front;  embroidery on the top front ~ tiny flowers & French knots ~ narrow blue trim around the top ~ and is in wonderful condition ~ no rips, tears, stains, repairs.  At the bottom (I included a picture) there is an opening which I originally thought was a hole, but upon further inspection I believe there may have been a long tie at the bottom and that presumed hole may be a button hole (and there is an opening at the bottom on the opposite side).  That would have made it a sack if the long tie were still there.
